New Forestry Officer joins Wangdue Division

Mr. Phuntsho Namgay hails from Kakanay Wog village under Bidung Geog, Trashigang Dzongkhag. He completed his secondary school education from Motithang Higher Secondary School, Bhutan and B.Sc. Forestry from Dolphin (PG) Institute of Bio-medical and Natural Sciences in Dehradun, Uttrakhand, India.

Upon successful completion of his  undergraduate Mr. Phuntsho competed for 2015 Bhutan Civil Service Examination and got selected into Bhutanese civil service. With his interest into sustainable forest management he then opted to join Wangdue Forest Division as Forestry Officer. His hobby is to do trekking, camping, sketching and wildlife photography. He also have a dream to pursue his further studies on Ophiology and Forest Management in future. 

The management of Wangdue Forest Division congratulates for his success and wishes Mr. Phuntsho the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.
