Cause of fire: Unknown

Remarks: The Punakha Range Office, Dzongkhag Forestry Sector Punakha, RBP Punakha and RBA Wangdue battled the forest fire and brought under control exactly at 7; 30AM today. Meanwhile, the Dzongkha Forestry Sector, Punakha is carrying out the detail field assessment and will submit the report to Wangdue Territorial Forest Division for onward submission to FFMS, DoFPS, Thimphu.
