New Forestry Officer Joins Wangdue Forest Division

Mr. Kelzang Dawa graduated with BSc. Forestry Science from the College of Natural Resources in 2015. He was also awarded a Diploma in Forestry from the same college prior to his undergraduate program. Mr. Kelzang then embarked his career with the Wild Boar Project; the pilot project formulated by the Nature Conservation Division to combat the increasing damage on crops caused by the wild boars.

Lately, Mr. Kelzang worked for the Lampelri Royal Botanical Park in the capacity of Park Manager. He is also a proficient landscaper, where he immensely contributed for development of Park’s landscape during his tenure ship as a Manager. Today, if we walk around the park we can feel the beautiful landscape covered with green lushes and maroon strawberries, wild and rare flowers in bloom. He is also an enthusiastic orchid lover that likes nothing better than sharing his passion with others and he is also a focal person for the orchid from the Department of Forests and Park Services.
On behalf of the Wangdue Forest Division staffs and our workers, we would like to welcome you. All of us here in the office are happy and it is truly a good gesture. Thus, we would like you to know that we are all happy and excited to work with you to grow more and become bigger.
