Lone male Asian black Bear cub rescued from Tekizampa

On the day of 23^rd May 2016, the Beat Officer of Chumzomsa recued another two three months old lone Asian black Bear cub from Tekizampa under Wangdue Dzongkhag.  During the time “the cub was walking sluggishly in the paddy field” said the Beat Officer.

The officials of the Tekizampa Road Widening Section reported the first sighting of the Bear cub to the Beat Office. Nonetheless, the Beat officials could not trace out why a cub got separated from his mom. Meanwhile, the cub is currently with the Wangdue Division rescue center and shall be further handed over to the Wildlife Conservation Division, Thimphu.
