On dated 3rd to 5th June 2016, the officials from
Wangdue Forestry Division, Lobesa along with the team from Natural Recreation Eco-tourism Division, Thimphu and
Dzongkhag Forestry Sector, Wangdue visited to Bel village under Khazi Geog, Wangdue Dzongkhag for Heritage Forest (HF) survey and to conduct the ground level consultation with the
rural resident of Bel village.
The team accompanied by the village Tshogpa surveyed the boundary of the Bay-Langdra Ney forest for collection of data i.e. boundary survey with coordinates, an area of the HF, socioeconomic survey, vegetation survey and avi-faunal species of the plots along the boundary. A plot size of 20X20M was used for sampling for the collection of the vegetation data and slope aspect of the area.
